Sunday, 3/9/14. The kidlet came to sit next to me as we waited for the bill. We are sillies. (He started it, though!)
Friday, 3/7/14. Rainbows always trump any other photos of the day. I’d actually gotten a pic of this from the kidlet. I was grateful because we were on lockdown. Minutes later, we were given the all-clear, so I got to see it, myself. Mine looks a little different than his, though. Police helicopter and all. ::shrug::
Thursday, 3/6/14. Ten dollar Shamrock Shake. After a productive workshop, I raced back to school for a very hard workout. Once I’d ensured I would NOT puke, nor pass out, I changed my clothes and headed over to McDonald’s for our Teacher Night. I had a blast and rewarded myself. I also managed to leave just ten minutes later than I’d planned.
Wednesday, 3/5/14. Hell, yeah, this is my pic today! I’ve been trying to beat him for three months and I finally did it! So, yeah, this trumps my pic of the St. Baldrick’s tee shirts that got distributed today, the pic of my Most Inspirational Teacher medal I received today (yep, twice this year! Different kid!), the pic of the email I received telling me the OC Register will be covering our event, AND the pic of the text I got from my friend telling me that her mastectomy was a success last week and she has NO CANCER. It’s been a pretty flipping rad day.
Sunday, 3/2/14. Somewhat spontaneous visit with my Honored Kid this afternoon. It may not be fancy seafood dinner with my love, but they fed the gringa posole and a gordita (promising me that they didn’t think I was fat), and some jalapeño sauce. We got FG all registered for our event and he said *I* get to shave his head! Want to donate to him? You can do that here: http://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/697480/2014
